February 5, 2005 Meeting

A meeting was held at NAB at 3 pm. Mr. Mehta, Sauravh, Prashant, Sreeja Deepak & new entrant Avneesh were present for the meeting.

The following is the summary of the meeting.

· The group members displayed the final version of the German game called Accessible Nimp. The game now has an option for playing with a friend as well as against computer. The game is speech enabled using Microsoft Text to Speech Engine. The user interface has been designed keeping in view the needs of low vision persons. The game has a well structured help document.

· The group discussed how menus could be speech enabled. Mr. Mehta suggested that the Tree View Control could be used for constructing the menus. The game programmers have decided to try it out.

The group has decided to Consider use of database in tik tak toe game for building intelligence into the game.

Mehta sir has proposed that he will work out the procedure of saving of tree view in files and retrieval of the same at the start of program.

Before the next meeting Sreeja will prepare a nice tutorial on use of database in vb programs

The development of SAFA was discussed and it was agreed that

The group will Test safa, prepare bug report & recreate the errors in the next meeting. The group will also look at the existing documentation of SAFA.
