The meeting of the mapofnab group started at 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 19, 2005 in NAB premise. Mr. Mehta, Mr, Prashant, Mrs. Sreeja, Mr. Sandeep, Mr. Mukesh, Mr. Anubhav and Mr. Saurabh were present in the meeting. First of all the team from Technology training institute, Ghaziabad joined this meeting. Then both team discussed issues related to linux, like how can Linux group work with mapofnab group to provide linux training to all members of the mapofnab group and how can both group work together to develop tools and softwares for blind persons on linux plateform. After detailed discussion two point strategies had been finalized.

1. A summer workshop will be organized in coordination of nab and linux team. In this summer training workshop the linux team will provide training for working and operation of linux operating system to the mapofnab group. 2. After getting the knowledge of programming in linux operating system both group will work together to develop some joint softwares and tools for the blind to work on linux plateform

Then Mrs. Sreeja demonstrated the database program and explained how search feature works in a database project. She demonstrated the basic concept of SQL programming technique.

Then the group discussed in details on requirement analysis of speech enabled hindi word processor. It had also been decided that the name of this word processor will be “LIPI”. This group discussed on design structure of this word processor. Then this group discussed about how the user manual for SAFA should be prepared. Then it had been decided that a detailed index (Table of Contents) will be prepared for SAFA user manual. Then this group will work on preparing descriptions of all topics included in index. This group discussed how can this group work on chess game made by Mr. Charudutt Jadhav. Then it had been decided that this group will assist to debug the chess game and to prepare user manual for this chess game. Then at last Mr. Saurabh demonstrated the tic tac toe game and explained new features added in modified tic tac toe game. Then the group felt that an user manual should be prepared for this tic tac toe game so that this game could be finalized. Now this group decided to work on following tasks : 1. A hindi version of tic tac toe game will be developed with using Vaachak speech synthesizer. 2. A detailed index for SAFA user manual will be prepared. 3. This group will work for debugging and user manual preparation for chess game made by Mr. Charudutt Jadhav. 4. A tutorial on SQL programming technique will be prepared for next meeting. 5. A detailed and specific requirement analysis for speech enabled hindi word processor will be prepared. A detailed menu system too for this word processor will be prepared. 6. All members will learn all properties of Rich Text Box in Visual Basic and Vaachak speech synthesizer..
